Who is eHost??

eHost is in basic terms, a website builder provider, domain registration provider and in addition, a website host. The organization’s timetable begins in 1999. eHost has been putting forth website creation, email services and a pile of other website hosting and services since the time they began.

During that time a ton of things has changed with eHost. In 2015 re-branding took place. They got a radical new site outline, another logo and a new control panel.

eHost utilizes drag & drop website developer/creation tools which numerous people might be acquainted with. This implies you can fundamentally move and customize pictures and components all over on your website. I for one like this component, however observed eHost’s drag & drop to be exceptionally full of bugs.

eHost as of now has 1 million sites facilitated at their stage. Deceiving to say the least. Numerous individuals get effortlessly persuaded by numbers like these, yet this isn’t really a great deal of sites in the grand scheme of things.

eHost has likewise gotten a great deal of negative feedback from clients recently. Numerous individuals have claimed to have lost many dollars to them. Is it truly a trick? Is eHost a Scam? Let’s dig deeper!

How Much is eHost?

Well from the small print I found, up front pricing after your “term” is up is as follows: $215.28 – 3 yr, $191.52 – 2 yr, $119.76 – 1 yr or $13.98/mo.

eHost Small Print eHost $5.50?

So? Tell me again where this “Regularly $5.50” is!?

As i continued on in their check out. I tried to press back. Then I was prompted with the notice that they will give me more incentive to sign up. 60% off! WOW looks amazing right? Wrong!! The only way to utilize the entire discount you have to pay up front for three years.

Other wise you are given the 60% off to the other terms as well, again paid up front. The one month term is discounted but keep in mind next month you WILL be paying $13.98/mo.

eHost 60% Off

So Should I Sign Up For eHost?

Well…. I am certainly not here to tell you what to do. But after some honest hard research here’s what I found. Lets just take a look at a few of many reviews/comments on eHost that I found. The positive reviews were far and few in between.

Then when I checked who the hosting provider was of said site. Yeah, not even hosted at eHost. What does your guy tell you about that??

So what now?  The consensus to me is FIND A BETTER HOST!

For the most Advanced to Expert Users I would highly recommend Godaddy.com

For people who are just starting out or are semi knowledgeable to Expert users I would highly recommend Wealthy Affiliate! You can read my WA review here!

Is eHost a Scam?

Well after reading some reviews numerous individuals said that the eHost client support wouldn’t react to any of their messages sent, neither telephone calls. As the vast majority of the messages were from irate clients, I can see why they would abstain from replying, yet this again just affirms that it IS a scam! OR they are just really bad at responding to customers and obviously can not hear the phone ringing!

I additionally had a go at sending an “irate email” imagining I was a client whining. A week went and no answer, pretty much as I anticipated. Signing up with PayPal is surely a good way to protect ones self.

eHost Pros vs. Cons

Pros:

  • Ahhhh The site looks pretty?

Cons:

  • Way to many bugs
  • Drag-and-drop feature don’t work properly
  • They don’t respond to emails, telephone calls in a timely fashion (If at all)
  • Too many billing mistakes
  • They are professional SCAMMERS! (who may apologize for taking your money)

So although they could potentially NOT be scamming people on purpose. They still have found themselves falling into the nasty abyss of the SCAMMERS column. Due to lack of communication. Unclear pricing. Poor software development and implementation. Unclear and misleading pricing schedule and just poor business ethics. Period.

So What Are My Options?

Well as I stated previously, some of you may be more inclined to go with Godaddy.com But what if i show you a free alternative that also offers an affiliate program?

That would be the other service I mentioned! Wealthy Affiliate It offers some pretty cool stuff for free! Here’s some of the great things WA has to offer:

  • Live, 24/7/365 Chat
  • Interactive Discussions
  • Live Question & Answer periods
  • Private 1-on-1 support with ME & the owners
  • 2 Free Websites
  • Affiliate Boot camp Training (Phase 1 of 7) & Beginner Training
  • 2 out 12 Training Classrooms
  • Affiliate Program (Lesser Payout than Premium)

That’s just the free stuff included with no obligation to ever pay for premium service! Although its very worth it!

It’s clear that eHost is not the place to be starting your online business.

They contribute to their blogs, they have posted their own teachings(training) and they have a wonderful POSITIVE ATTITUDE. There is such an abundance of information within the community that I encourage everyone at least to try it for free.

Final Thoughts…

I vote SCAM / REALLY POOR BUSINESS ETHICS

Thanks for reading!
